Office of Cultural Affairs 2009 Interns
The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs recruits and trains over 25 college and master’s degree candidates to serve as interns leading up to and working during the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, MOJA Arts Festival and other special events. These students go on to careers in the non-profit sector, business, law, medicine and more after learning valuable skills in marketing, logistics, communication, production and management.
Students work 120 hours and are generally eligible for 3 hours of college credit. Upon successful completion of the internship, the student is given a modest stipend of $500.

Spring 2011 Internship (January-April 2011): December 5, 2010
Summer 2011 Internship (May-July 2011): May 8, 2011
