Charleston Southern University invites applications for a faculty position in the AMTA-approved Music Therapy Program within the NASM-accredited Horton School of Music beginning August 1, 2009.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in Music Therapy or a related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate hours in music therapy required; applicants who are ABD will be considered; music therapy board certification and three years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) clinical music therapy experience required; supervisory experience required; college teaching experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach core undergraduate music therapy courses; supervise pre-internship field experiences. Other responsibilities dependent upon applicant qualification and School of Music needs. Additional responsibilities will include serving on university committees and other departmental and college activities, as assigned.
