Graphic Specialist - Johnson Service Group, Inc.

Successful applicants should be proficient in the creation of 2D & 3D graphics and animation for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courses. Have the ability to convert from engineering drawing formats (AutoCAD, Catia, Unigraphics) to formats that can be efficiently delivered over the Internet.

Be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite 3 and similar programs.

All content is built for instructional design and will work on a Flash platform. This would include motion graphics, interactive flash presentations, special effects, 3D character animation, 2D / 3D scenarios, video, etc.

Candidates must be personable, take-charge individuals with dynamic organizational skills and be comfortable and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment. The ability to take and offer direction, to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, plus work either cooperatively or independently on projects will be the key to productivity. Collaborate on or provide suggestions on preparing of design layouts, specifications and mechanicals for Level three Interactive Media Instruction (IMI). Meet with team members as needed to develop design concepts, gather information, discuss alternatives, gain approval and review publications. Maintain liaison with other staff members, to communicate job specifications and ensure deadlines are met. Keep abreast of recent developments and technologies in the graphic arts field. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of experience in computer generated graphics art creation. Have experience and samples of previously done graphics/animation work depicting real life objects. Experience in graphics development for IMI, JavaScript, XML, SCORM.

Typically requires a minimum of three years experience as a Graphic Artist with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent education and experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties.
